It’s been 3 magical months at home.
The get away has brought me new perception towards many things here. About what music to make, how music should be made, how life should continue, who should I be with.
Jazz was my focus during the get away, but it was never only about the music. It’s what jazz is about, how jazz is made. Jazz is a way of music making based on factual theory in music, self identification and actualisation and mutual respect in humanity. Spending time with jazz has free my mind from a lot of boundaries I’ve formed while growing up. It pushed my imagination.
Being at home, it’s the perfect ground for imagination actualisation. Simply because I cannot know any place better than this place I call home.
The previous 3 months was only a sneak peak, a beginning of my evolved imagination, I look forward to be back and keep things rolling 🤟🏻
